Dear valued members of the Nigeria Taekwondo community,
As we come to the end of another eventful year, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the progress we have achieved despite the numerous challenges we have faced in 2023. It has been a year of resilience, unity, and triumph for all of us in the Nigeria Taekwondo Federation.
Throughout this year, we have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the development and growth of Taekwondo in Nigeria. Our athletes and coaches have shown remarkable dedication and perseverance, pushing through obstacles and continuously striving for excellence. Through their hard work and determination, we have made significant strides in raising the standard of Taekwondo in our nation.
Looking ahead to the promising year of 2024, we are filled with anticipation and excitement for the opportunities that lie before us. We are eagerly preparing for the Olympic qualification in Senegal, the All African Games in Ghana, and the prestigious Olympic Games in Paris, France. These events present us with the chance to showcase the talent and skill of our athletes on the global stage, and we are confident that they will make us proud.
Furthermore, we are fully committed to enhancing the programs and activities that will foster the development of our athletes both locally and internationally. We will continue to invest in initiatives that provide our athletes with the resources and training they need to thrive in this demanding sport. Additionally, we are dedicated to building the capacity of our coaches and referees, recognizing them as integral pillars of support in our journey towards excellence.
As we reflect on the past year and look forward to the future, I am filled with optimism and determination. The Nigeria Taekwondo community is a force to be reckoned with, and together, we will continue to push boundaries, break barriers, and achieve greatness.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to the success of our federation, including our athletes, coaches, referees, and administrative staff. Your unwavering support and hard work have been instrumental in our progress, and I am truly grateful for your dedication against all odds.
Let us approach the coming year with renewed vigour and a steadfast commitment to our goals. Together, we will write the next chapter of success for Taekwondo in Nigeria.
Thank you, and may we seize every opportunity that comes our way in 2024.
Happy New Year
Sincerely,
[Abdullahi Saidu Baba]
